How long does a motorized shade battery last? −
Most rechargeable battery packs last three to six months between charges depending on how often the shade is used, and recharge fully in a few hours with the included cable.
How much do motorized blinds cost in DFW? +
Motors typically add $95 to $260 per window installed on top of the blind itself, with a smart hub and voice setup adding roughly $150 for the whole home. Your quote is fixed once we have measured — no deposit taken at the consultation.
Do I need an electrician for motorized blinds? +
Battery and solar-charged motors need no wiring at all. Hardwired motors, typically chosen for new construction, are wired in by a licensed electrician as part of the install.

Can I retrofit motors onto blinds I already own? +
In many cases yes, if the existing headrail and fabric weight are compatible. We assess this at the free consultation and recommend a replacement only when a retrofit would not run reliably.
